Commission Artwork
I am an artist who enjoys working in a variety of mediums. My areas of expression thus far have been in drawing (with many years of detail work in graphite). I have also worked in color pencil, airbrush (on murals and tapestries), acrylic and oil painting (on large scale canvas), calligraphy and some graphics and logo design.
Until recently most of my commissioned work has been for portraits in pencil. I work from a photograph to capture the likeness and personality of the person involved. I often have been asked to include the portrait as part of an illustrated montage containing important aspects of that person's life. This is also an area where I have been able to honor the memory of the lives of those who have too quickly passed from this world, from pre-born and newborn to retired adults.
Commissioned portraits help to fund the missions work! A head and shoulders portrait starts at $235.00 and is typically 11"x14". I have also done murals in peoples homes and on fabric that have been used as backdrops for children's classrooms and ministry centers.
